Join Commute Seattle, North City Neighborhood Association (NCNA), Sound Transit, and dozens of community partners on August 30 from 4 – 8pm as we celebrate the opening of four new light rail stations, extending the 1 Line northward to Lynnwood. Be one of the first riders on this new section of light rail, explore all four new stations, win prizes and swag, and celebrate this momentous occasion in our region’s transportation history!
All four new stations will be hosting celebrations, and Commute Seattle will be taking part at the Shoreline North/185th St station. Stop by for a chance to win an awesome transit swag giveaway box, grab one of our commemorative stickers, and tell us what you love about the new light rail stations! The Shoreline North station celebration will be hosted by North City Neighborhood Association and will have dance performance and music, scooter and bike demos from Lime, and local food vendors!
