Seattle Department of Transportation recently launched “Stay Healthy Streets” which closes streets throughout the city to vehicle traffic. There are more than 20 miles of neighborhood streets available to pedestrians for walking, biking and rolling while maintaining social distance.

The car-free streets create more outdoor exercise opportunities for areas with limited open space options. It is important to #KeepItMoving while utilizing outdoor recreation areas. Additionally, these routes help connect people to essential services and bike lanes.

Stay Healthy streets are located in Green Lake, Aurora Licton Springs, Central District, Lake City, Delridge, Highland Park, Ballard, Othello Rainier Beach, West Seattle, High Point, Beacon Hill and Rainier Valley.
