Join us at this year’s Transportation Transformations, our annual event that highlights the ever-growing and changing landscape of Seattle transportation. In partnership with Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT), this year’s event will highlight the recent opening of the RapidRide G Line and the huge infrastructure changes it has brought from downtown Seattle through Madison Valley with an informational presentation from SDOT followed by a guided ride-along tour of the G Line itself.
Attendees will learn about the importance of the RapidRide G and what a bus every six minutes means to riders. SDOT representatives will discuss this transformational project, its conceptualization and construction, and the numerous infrastructure improvements we will see along the corridor on our tour. Attendees will then hop onto RapidRide buses and take a tour of the G Line, led by both Commute Seattle and SDOT staff. We will experience firsthand what makes the G Line and its buses one-of-a-kind in Seattle and witness the huge capital investments and transformations along the route itself.
After the tour, we will return to 800 5th Ave for lunch, Q&A, and networking!
